And most recent...

On April 1st Bruce had to go to Orlando for work.  Poor man, couldn't let him face that hardship alone... Especially since one of our daughters and her family are living just 2 hours away so I bravely accompanied him.
Hey, Nicholas! those are my shoes. Put them away?  All shoes end up on the stairs. That's where he puts them.

We went to a park for a bar-b-que.  Nick loved the playground. It had a big toy with a back exit that he tried to escape thru, repeatedly.
Before the visit ended, we got to go to SeaWorld- twice! They had a special going so Monday we went with Grumpa...

I said look down, he said look up!

the aquarium was coolness in every direction.

We saw lots of penguins and puffins,

and walked to the splash pad where Nicholas got very wet.

Grammy got wet too.
Day 2 we brought  Tyler and met Grumpa there.

A wonderful visit. Too short of course but with some of our favorite people. We also got to see Richard and Jessica one night for dinner, and Great-Grandma Rhoda drove up with her buddy Dixie to visit us too.

Next Event

We got thru the wedding and Christmas and then a week into the new year,  Bruce, Lorraine, and Gloria went on an adventure. We drove to California and got on a big beautiful cruise ship called Mariner of the Seas for 7 nights. We visited Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, and enjoyed 3 relaxing days on the ship.
In Cabo, we went on a jeep tour in these little 4x4s through the mountains to the ocean.

and on the way hugged a 300 year old cactus...

In Mazatlan we visited a beautiful cathedral, saw some cliff divers, and enjoyed a cultural show with music and dancing from the different areas of Mexico.

In Puerto Vallarta we went to a wildlife park where I got to get up close and learn about a Seal then we all got to meet some parrots.

This is a sunrise from our cabin balcony.  We enjoyed watching the ocean and passing land and occasional wildlife from there. One evening we were visited by a large school of dolphins just at twilight.

And of course every night we enjoyed good food and good company.

New tricks

Okay.  I was with Tiffany and she tried to teach me some new tricks, like how to put pictures on here without taking forever... Worked somewhat.  Anyhow, I'll try every few days to add another event. It's been an eventful few months!  Starting with November 23, 2010.  Rachelle (Chelley) married Kearney (KL)  for time and eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple. It was cold and windy but beautiful. That evening was a reception in our hometown which almost got blizzarded out. A wonderful time was had by all who were able and dared to attend.
