Memories

I got this from my cute niece Katy. I love how creative she is and when I grow up I want to be just like her.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I have a few memories of us quilting but my favorite is going out to lunch with the lunch group and talking and laughing and having a good time as friends.

Many, many memories of you being a mom which I keep stored and bring them out when I need to, but, my favorite memory of you is: You and Bruce were babysitting me when you were engaged and you showed me how to pass an M&M between your mouths. I believe it was a peanut M&M and it was green. You were sitting on his lap and I think I could have been drowning myself in the toilet for all you two noticed anything else :o) I was horrified at the time - I think that's why I ate all your pickles and 'hid' the jar of juice in your fridge when I babysat for in those lovely wymount apts. Ahh such memories! I am happy to report that this practice no longer horrifies me and I have found much joy in it. Thanks for sacrificing your time to give a few pointers! Have a fun vacation - you'll be really close to us if you get crazy and feel like drive give us a ring!

Ok this is a funny one and I'm not sure why this has stuck in my mind all these years but my most vivd memory of you is when you were changing a diaper one time and before you threw it away you folded it into the smallest little ball that I have ever seen! I was so amazed!!! Isn't that funny??? Anyways now for a sappy one, you and Bruce are a great strength to this family and I admire (from afar) the dedication you two have to the church. I would always love reading the funny e-mails that Bruce would send out when Anne was in the hospital and he was trying to arrange everything, what a great man he is. Thanks to both of you for being family members I can still look up to!
